I am trying to help a group of dancers by doing some lighting for a show .

I have no budget to aquire more equipment but here is what I have:

8x PAR 38 (100 watt)
4x PAR 46 (200 watt)
2x eight foot stands
No dimmers or controlers.

I know a little about setting up lights and I am thinking something like.

Side lighting an area about 25 to 30 feet wide. I am going to buid short stands for the PAR 38's (4 with 2 lights each) putting them closer to the floor. I was thinking to use a 1/2 ct blue gel in these.

The PAR 46's I will put on the 8 foot stands and use something like a paler lavender or medium bastard amber gel.

Hopefully if this works out for them I will be able to get them to add to the equipment in the future.
